I’ve always wondered who are some of these people painted on walls around New York? What was their personality like? What did they do to help the community? What does it mean to be memorized in such away? Would I want a painting of me on the side of a building?

Another thing, these paintings are well-kept. Who ever does the art work must retouch it constantly.

Sometimes the painting is up there for a while before it is erased and a new face fills the spot.

I rarely see a woman face or a child’s face. It’s usually a man’s face.
