Lilly Hurley majored in music and minored in African-American History at Fordham University at the Bronx Campus. She also took many art classes at the Lincoln Center Campus. She currently is in the Graduate School of Education at the College of New Rochelle.
She volunteered at the New York Public Library with neighborhood school age children for a year (which encouraged her to start this blog). She likes to work with children and loves photography and fashion. She sings gospel, writes, and plays the flute.
She currently post pictures of people who dress daringly and fashionable in the Bronx, blogs about Gustiamo , store window displays in New York and other activities in New York, intern for artist and illustrator Javaka Steptoe, the Bronx News Network, the International Center of Photography and is a Literacy teacher and Program Director at the Mary Mitchell Family and Youth Center.
