Harlem Cats
I love these old guys. They are the essence of cool!
Take note of their clothing.
The one at the end with a loud royal blue hat has on no socks and are his khakis rolled up?
There’s one in the middle with light blue pants. He’s the best dressed one out of the entire crew with dress shoes and black nylon socks.
I regret that I did not take a closer one of their faces. This side photo doesn’t really tell their story. It only shows what they seem to be doing, looking at people looking at them.

There is something vintage about this photo. I think it helps that it is in black and white also the background of the store gives off a feeling of New York in the early 90’s. And then, my subject stance is just cool. The overdone of the shadow adds mystery to the story of the photo.

Here is a collage of my pictures next to Kate Spade photos.
The colors in my photos and her photos are not equal. Mine includes more shadow and saturation than hers but I think the fact that our surroundings are colorful is what make our photos similar.
