The Family Health Challenge

This picture is of a bag made especially for the Mary Mitchell Center. This bag is used to package the food that the center gives out weekly.

Printed on the back of the bag includes a list of what the children did each week as participants of the Challenge. It reads like this:

  1. Drink water (not sugary drinks).
  2. Eat three fresh fruits every day.
  3. Eat more vegetables.
  4. Eat whole grains (not processed food).
  5. Exercise everyday.
  6. Eat small portions of meat and grains.
  7. Don’t eat take-out, cook food at home.
  8. Watch less t.v/ computer/video.
  9. Play outside at a park or garden.
  10. Volunteer to help your neighborhood.
