From far away this dog looks mean and vicious.
But this dog really is old and slowful.

Chauncy
Every three to eight steps, Chauncy kept lying down. What I didn’t tell you is not only is it old but it was suffering from a snake bite. There was a gigantic sore on Chauncy’s back.

If Chauncy wasn’t so old and sluggish, I probably would be scared of him. It really is one of the biggest dogs I’ve ever seen. I wouldn’t want to be responsible for feeding it.
