This year was my first year running the after school program.

This means I was not in the classroom. Instead, I was on the outside looking in. Not one day did I sit at the front desk alone. Everyday students were begging to sit with me…or misbehaved and had no other choice.

In this photo, I am helping a student with her homework at my left and behind me telling brother and sister it’s okay to play with the legos.

Then, there is another student who is walking towards my desk, the prize box on top of the cabinet for spear of the moments, snacks and then, the camera.

What a super busy year.
