Farmer David Haughton and his family always give the kids love and have extra patience with them. He and his lovely wife makes it their manner to talk to the children everytime they arrive. We took this picture after he cut a big watermelon for them.

For fun my class created a brain museum. We spent some time learning about our brains, it’s huge capacities and capabilities. Then we posted our art work around the room and invited family and friends to the classroom to inform them about the wonders of the Brain.
Before I left to Argentina, I was able to pull together another pen-pal day for my students and the children’s choir at my church. It was a success and we had a blast!

The happy children are now visiting the dorms. Yep, even little John wants to see what it’s like to live on a college campus. Higher learning for all!

Last month I took my kids to Fordham University to see what college is really like.
They had so much fun, they all said they couldn’t wait to go to college.
