During the second week of the Holy Convocation the Little Flock made ice cream outside. Sister Shekea lead the kids in making ice cream. They were excited and hopeful. After they all drew a picture of how they thought their ice cream would turn out, they were given ice, salt, blue berries and other items to start the process.
The second Monday of the Holy Convocation was extra special to Zach because it was his 7th Birthday!
He came in church with a bow tie and a new haircut. His beautiful mom testified about him and he was the king of the night.
He did not know that we were going to surprise him with a party! He could not hold back his smile when he realized all the saints were singing Happy Birthday just for him!
When we went to the Nursing Home, our friend and brother in Christ came with us. Matt who is also a photographer took some photos of us that are worth sharing.
We went to the nursing home and it was the highlight of my day. There weren’t too many people who come into the room to hear us sing and read scripture, but with those who were there, we had a grand time! I think they enjoyed Cire the most. She was the youngest one in the room and full of energy and songs of Encouragement. Every song we taught her in the Children’s Choir she sung it there in joy. Everytime she opened her mouth and tapped her foot, she put a huge smile on their faces.
After service, almost everyone with light blue got together to take a family photo.
Us, happy we are friends
