Lashonda

I thought Lashonda had on the best hat at the wedding…that is after the bride of course…

Lucia

Congratulations to Billy and Lucia

A childhood friend and sister of mine tied the knot this pass weekend. She didn’t hire me as her photographer but I was glad when she approached me and asked if I could take a few pictures after her photographer left the wedding early. I hope she likes the few pictures I took.

Congrats Girl!

Lucia & Billy

Lucia looked gorgeous on her wedding day. I loved her gloves, the detail of the dress and of course the detail  of her hat.

Takysha Williams!

Even though I haven’t been bloggin’ religiously, doesn’t mean I haven’t been thinking about my fellow followers!

I went to my choir directress’ wedding and it was absolutely beautiful…and a lot of fun.

Here is one of the few pictures I took. One of her bridesmaids (I hope I am using the word correctly) was helping her with her wedding dress.

Look at her hat and how vintage and quintessential it is. The embroidery around the hat is in tune with the embellishment in front of her dress.

The next picture is a picture of her wedding party.

It’s all in the Hat

This picture goes right along with my “Hats or Hats Not” project.

A friend of mine recently got married and I was more interested in the people’s threads then in the actual wedding. Sorry, but true.

To say the least, I was a bit disappointed by some of those who attend. Why would you wear Timberlands and a tee to a wedding?! I saw some who looked like they just walked off the street into the church.

Anyways, enough about the squares! I got a kick out of looking at the bridesmaid dresses but the best were the  hats.

Here is a picture of the bridesmaids.
