Natasha

Natasha was the most fashionable person standing in front of the fish market.

Her hair style along with her outfit is eye catching. The next blog post is a full body shot.

Natasha

From her outfit, I could tell she had an eye for colors and placing them together. If you look at the photos a little close, you will see that the pink curtain behind her has fish on it…which works for the picture…it wasn’t my idea that she stood where she stood, it was her idea.

In addition to her hairdo, and her picking where to stand to take the picture, her maxi skirt and sandals compliments her a little more.

Karis

This is Karis.

Of course the color of her sweater popped out to me…it was what encouraged me to take the photo. However, as I am now looking at the photo, the fact that she is boldly wearing tights without anything to cover up- suggests something about my generation.

She is covered- it’s not like she has on sagging pants but- tights…is that enough?

The way my generation dresses suggests a type of boldness. I can’t fully understand it just yet.

Karis

If you look at Karis’ face, you will see three dots by her left eye. Those are facial rings!

And look at her hair style, the sides are cut off but everything else is her natural hair…which means a lot in the African-American Community.

Cornell

This is Cornell. Look at his outfit.

He told me he is originally from North Carolina.

He came to New York in 1962 after he got into a little trouble. He lived upstate for a while…I automatically thought jail because of the way he said it: They sent me upstate and when I got out my Mom helped me get a small place in the Bronx. Now I live in Harlem.
