Pushera Adams

Pushera’s entire outfit. If you look closely, you will see that the blouse is open in the back.

Check out her wedges! They match with the color of her purse.

Jaliyn’s Outfit

Of all the children at Mary Mitchell, Jaylin was the only one who made her outfit. From head to toe she created her outfit (with a lot of help from her mom).

The following photos are close up pictures of her outfit.

Jaylin’s Outfit- Shoes

Okay, lets start with her sneakers. There are studs around the soles and the shoe laces are tulle.

Also, the dots and the hearts were added on the Converse.

Tulle? Really? For shoe laces? It’s awesome.

(There is more tulle on the heel of the sneakers)

Jaylin’s Outfit- Tights/ Skirt

She has two pairs of  tights on- the black ones are ripped intentionally.

Then, her skirt- that spider design fabric is actually added on to the skirt. When she walked down the ‘runway’, she had a lot of fun spinning around.

I think that black and white piece on the top was also added.

Marianna

On Saturday after I left the Mary Mitchell Center, I saw Marianna walking with her two sister’s and thought, I like the way she’s dressing… When I caught up with them, she looked at me and said, I know you!

Which surprised me.

From where?

Fordham University.

So, she did know me. Well, at least she knew of me. Apparently, we both went to Fordham and graduated at the same time. Our paths just never crossed until Saturday.

We live in the same neighborhood and work with the same children. We have so much in common. It was like I ran into a long lost friend!

Okay, Marianna’s outfit. Her dress and scarf combination works perfectly. But what I enjoy the most is the change purse she told me she got from a friend who visited Jamaica.

Chris

This is Chris.

He was actually walking really fast a block ahead of me and I promised myself, if I catch up to him, I am going to ask to photograph him. As soon as I made that promise, he stopped to fix his ipod and that gave me enough time to catch up.

He is a student at the Borough of Manhattan Community College and lives in the Bronx.

Look at his style! From his hair style to his military boots (which you will see in the next post) he is on point.

If you look closely at his shirt,  you will see the cuffs  are designed with horizontally stripes. His vest is plaid but not very loud so it goes very well with is shirt pattern.

And his hair…is burgundy…like his pants. Which you will see in the next post.

Chris

Chris’ full outfit.

Check out his foot wear. Even though he has military boots on, his socks are still showing.

His jeans are burgundy and his shirt pink. His color coordination is on point.
