Keith
Like many of the people I took photos of today, I took a picture of Keith while I was at church, during the bake/ dinner sale.
I think his jean vest is awesome (look at the next blog post to see a close up of it).
Actually, I didn’t even know that jean vest were in this season until one of the little boys in my church ask me to get him one as a birthday gift. That’s when I realized that a lot of people are wearing them. (A lot of men not little boys are wearing them, I think the kid in my church is ahead of his times). The kid in my church even told me how he was going to wear it- with buttons and other accessories. I hope he keeps dreaming about it because I can’t even find denim vest for kids his age. He’s 12 now. (Help!)

Mike
I was not going to take a picture of Mike.
He was hanging out with is friends and when He saw me with my camera around my neck, he said, ‘Can you take a picture of me?’ and of course, he thought I was going to keep walking.
But I stopped.
Walked back to him…and had to chase him a little because he started to say, I was just kidding!
Finally I got two shots! But I like this one because of the shade.

Issac
This is Issac from Panama.
This picture kind of makes me smile. You know how much I love Beetle Volkswages…if you don’t, just visit my blog a little more!
Anyways, I saw Issac walking in my direction from down the street and I planned that when he gets near…I am going to ask him to pose in front of the car. Why? Well, he was dressed up and it seem it should be his car just for a moment!
So, when I asked him, the first thing I realized was that he didn’t have any teeth in his mouth. However, he was cool! He had no problem actually posing for me!
After I took the picture, he started to tell me about living in America and how he misses Panama. We ended up walking and talking for a while. He seemed to be full of wise comments about life and very humble (I guess you have to be humble to walk around with no teeth).
He picked up a few soda and beer cans to cash them in and his theory was- If I ask you for a quarter, will you freely give it to me?
Another thing I remember him saying was:
When you do good, you don’t have to worry; but when you do bad, you worry.
That’s Issac.
Motorcycle Season
So, I think, Spring is motorcycle season. As a matter of fact, I hear one right now!
I was walking home and they were all waiting for the light. I didn’t even realize that I knew one of the dudes until I took the picture.
The whole neighborhood was watching and waiting for them to take off. It was time to cross the street and people weren’t even crossing the street, they were just waiting for them to race off. And they all had different sounds on their bikes. Which intensified the moment.
